Catherine 'Cat' Williams
* So many years have passed
Since I proclaimed
My independence
My mission
My aim
And my vision
So secure
Content to live each day like it's my last .
HEY THERE. THE NAME IS , Catherine Williams AND I AM 17 .
I'VE BEEN ROLEPLAYING FOR ABOUT 6 years, now
AND MY OTHER CHARACTERSWOULD BE (Non-applicable, unless considering other roleplaying sites. Roleplaying a leader will be enough... for now.)
.
- - - - nickname, 'Cat'
- - - - gender, Female
- - - - sexuality, Heterosexual
- - - - class, cop (Blue leader). [/ul][/ul]
- - - - hair, A deep brown, nearly black. It's usually tied back in order to keep it out of her face.
- - - - built, Thin for her age, but athletic and generally well-muscled
- - - - weight, One hundred and thirty-eight pounds
- - - - height, Five feet, nine inches
- - - - tattoos, N/A (She's a Blue, and therefore avoids tattoos or identifying marks in general. Although, when she is going to catch Runners, she tends to wear short sleeves as if covering a tattoo up.
[/ul][/ul]
- - - - loathes, lack of activity, paperwork (especially), politics in generally nowadays, and some aspects of her life, such as the fact that she has a reputation to keep and can't just go out and bring a few Runners back in any day.
- - - - strenghts, Quick with her feet and her tongue, but slightly slower with the trigger of a gun, Catherine is exceptional in that she's light, lithe, and fast. She won't follow a Runner everywhere, but she might chase them for a bit. She also has a touch of charisma in her, and gets along with quite a few of her fellow Blues. Some would say she's too cheerful, and lacking the gravitas to be promoted.
However, that's how Catherine likes it. The more time she has before she's promoted, the better reputation she can build and then get along with her coworkers more. She also is very good at capturing or eliminating Runners, partly why she's reached her current position.
- - - - weaknesses, She doesn't have a perfect aim with her weapon, and it's a fifty percent chance of her actually hitting her target, unless it's larger than the average person. She also has no talent in politics, even though her wit is quick. Cat believes that politics in generally are a waste of time, and therefore avoids politics as much as she possibly again. Although, as a higher-up in the police force, she's going to have to navigate through that maze as best she can.
- - - - dreams, to be promoted, get a stable job, and own more than one dog. She also wants to have a lot of time before retiring, as she sees retiring as time to do absolutely nothing with your life.
- - - - fears, Cat suffers from arachnophobia and a bit of vertigo, although that's only when she's standing at the edge of, say, a new, not fully constructed skyscraper. Her genuine fear, though, is having her true colors (e.g. slightly revolutionary) come out at the wrong time, such as when she's on a job.
- - - - overall personality, A cheerful, glass-half-full person, Catherine is undeterred by bullets, Runners, or just about anything that could get in her way. She's somewhat of a conformist, but has her opinions and will stick to them, no matter what people say. She also bears a very strong sense of duty to the city and to the people of the city.

- - - - overall history, Catherine was born in the city, to a revolutionary mother and a father who firmly believed in his duty to the city. As such, the two of them clashed, but somehow managed to salvage their marriage after each row. The status quo of 'argue, make up, and then argue again' was kept for several years, until Catherine's mother, like so many others, became a participant in a very large-scale riot. Catherine didn't know the difference, then. She simply decided that she wanted to be a police officer, and that was it. No doubts, no change of opinion.
And, like many others, her mother died as the police began a crackdown while the riot traveled through the city. It was only luck that Catherine's father arrived after the initial quelling had already begun, and it was there that he found his dead wife. He returned home to Catherine a shattered man, although he began to delve deep into his work. This had a profound effect on Catherine, and firmly imprinted a sense of duty, responsibility, and honesty into her.
As soon as she was old enough, she entered the academy and began to train as hard as she could, rising up the ranks quickly due to her efficiency and lack of questioning orders, until she started giving the orders herself.
- - - - motivation, Catherine has a strong sense of duty, just as stated. She believes that the city needs a police force, and a good one.
Even if that involves capturing and/or killing Runners.
- - - - other, Catherine is generally called 'Captain Williams' when on-duty. A few of her closest friends and coworkers do call her Cat, but never Catherine.
Only her father calls her Catherine, and she hates it beyond all measure.
